I’m a retired 68year old woman. I chose not to have or raise children. That decision, which should’ve been an acceptable choice, became a lifetime of questioning by myself, friends, family and strangers. In fact, after being interviewed by “60 Minutes” in 1974 I found myself without a job! I learned that people equate not wanting to have children as meaning I hated kids. I’ve finished a memoir, “Confessions of a Childless Woman” where I look back and share what lead me to make that choice and if, looking back, I have any regrets. This blog is to open any discussions about the choice to parent or not to parent. Any and all questions will be answered with respect and honesty.I will also have excerpts from my book to encourage you to read and share it with others.
